The Nominating Committee is underway and off to a great start.  Several positions have already been filled.  Please pray for us as we pray about filling the needed leadership positions.  If you are asked for a role, consider it and pray about it.  God may desire to use you in His Kingdom work in our church.

We are offering a new member class on Saturday, October 12 from 9-Noon.  I’d love for you to join us if you are considering membership.  As a member, you would vote on important church matters.  Plus, there are leadership positions where you must be a member to fill them.  We’d love to have you join and use your gifts and skills!  If you’ve completed the class but haven’t turned in the covenant, please consider doing so!

Cathy and I will be leaving early Monday morning for Canton, Ohio.  I have meetings on Tuesday.  It will give us an opportunity to see my dad and Cathy’s mom and sister.  Our oldest son, Philip, happens to be on a business trip to Canton over those days so we will get to see him Monday evening and take my dad out for dinner.  I’m looking forward to that family time!
