amily Night Dinner - This is a covered-dish dinner for the entire family and is a good way to meet and fellowship with new attendees to the church. The dinners typically start at 5:30 p.m. and are followed by a congregational business meeting two times a year along with occasional special events.
ife Groups - We call our small groups Life Groups. Life Groups include every aspect of Christian living and community Jesus taught and demonstrated to His disciples, the first Life Group. An apple tree will only produce fruit if placed with other apple trees; they must have the cross pollination that comes from being with other trees. Believers must have the love, support, and interaction that come from being with other believers. In order to grow in Christ and produce the fruit God desires in us, we need to learn to live together in the kind of community that will come as we grow in Christ together in Life Groups.
Life Groups meet weekly from September through May and meet occasionally for fellowship during the summer. Beginning in September each group focuses on the same topic, using the same material for approximately 10 weeks. This creates a wonderful opportunity for church unity. For the remainder of the year, each Life Group selects its own topic of study.
We invite you to become involved in this small group (8-12 people) atmosphere for study of God's word, worship, ministry, outreach and fellowship. If you would like to participate or have any questions please contact the or contact the church office at 730-9512.
